Welcome to Our Century-Old Home Renovation
Come along with us on this journey as we breath new life to a piece of history. Our home, built in 1926, stood abandoned for nearly a decade before we discovered it, upon our return from Hungary to the US in 2019. Instantly smitten by its charm and potential, we set off on a mission to restore it to its former glory.
Our renovation journey is filled with passion and perseverance. Just the two of us, pouring our hearts into every project, we've worked tirelessly to reveal the beauty hidden beneath years of neglect. We’ve even taken on the challenge of building and crafting many of the furniture and decor pieces ourselves—check out our videos below to see how we did it! Although the process has had its ups and downs, each challenge only deepens our connection to this remarkable little home.
This journey is more than a renovation; it’s a labor of love, discovery, and transformation.

“Diamond in the Rough” Love at First Sight
Re-watching our first walk through of the home is crazy! I completely forgot how bad it was! Having just moved back to the states from Hungary, we ended up moving in almost immediately. Well, once I had re-tiled the shower and installed a new toilet and sink. We camped out in one of the bedrooms while we worked on the rest of the house. To think of doing that now.. I don’t know.
Between the house, attic ( which was full to the peek ), and the shop, we filled two dumpsters!
We’re five years in and we still have a long way to go, but it’s coming along, step by step.
The Bathroom

We are proud to showcase the careful attention we paid to preserving the old house charm, particularly through the maintenance of the original flooring. With only a limited number of places available, we aim to create a unique space that reflects both elegance and history.
